Some women are addicted to dysfunctional relationships. You know that man or that friend that is constantly hurting you, why do you stick around? Are you so accustomed to chaos, lies, abuse and deceit that it's hard to get out of the cycle?
Exodus 16:3
The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the LORD's hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death."To make a long story short, the children of Israel were not in a healthy relationship with the Egyptians. The children of Israel were SLAVES and God provided an amazing way out for them but transitioning from slavery to freedom was a challenge. They missed certain aspects of their past and thought it would have been better to die in Egypt.
You might have found yourself in a relationship that seemed so great and then it took a turn for the worse. You keep trying to fix it and make it right and things keep falling apart. So the Lord parts the RED Sea just so you can leave, but you keep going back to entertain it because it is comfortable and familiar.
Look some relationships are NOT beneficial and when you finally cut it off, you might miss the past but you must realize that there are greater things ahead if you keep moving forward. Going back to the chaos will just continue the cylce, be strong enough to end it and trust that God will bring along someone better. He has your best interest in mind learn from the past and create a better future by listening and obeying God.
