A Time for Everything
Ecclesiastes 3 : 1-8
3 For everything there is
a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2
a time to
be born, and a time to die;
a time to
plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3
a time to
kill, and a time to heal;
a time to
break down, and a time to build up;
4
a time to
weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to
mourn, and a time to dance;
5
a time to
cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to
embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6
a time to
seek, and a time to lose;
a time to
keep, and a time to cast away;
7
a time to
tear, and a time to sew;
a time to
keep silence, and a time to speak;
8
a time to
love, and a time to hate;
a
time for war, and a time for peace.
It hit me that there is a time to be
single and a time to be married.
If it is a desire in your heart to be
married and your time has not come. How are you spending this time? Are you
spending this time trying to reconcile things with your EX who has told you
that he doesn’t want to be in a relationship? Are you looking to marry any man
that approaches you? Maybe you are getting older and you think that God is withholding
a husband from you? Trust that God will deliver the desires of your heart!
But, I want to ask," Has God asked you to do
something with your life and you are so busy looking for a husband that you
have yet to do it?"
Get your priorities in order.
Many women are making idols out of men, relationships and marriage and neglecting their purpose. If you are wondering why doors are closed, why there are no prospects or why he doesn't want to be in a relationship. It may not be your season, respect it and do what He's called you to do! Don't waste this season, enjoy the life God has given you and be grateful for everything in your life.
